As the WGI season hits the final stretch, groups across the country have been performing in Power Regionals as they seek feedback before making one last push.

With March underway, the intensity of the WGI season escalates as ensembles across the nation gear up for the looming World Championships in Dayton.

The first 2025 WGI regional scores came out this weekend with three WGI regionals across three states: Texas, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Winter guards from all of WGI's classes competed with Emerson HS in Scholastic A earning the highest score of the weekend.

The 2024 DCI season is kicking off with six corps converging outside Grand Rapids, Michigan at the 2024 Midwest Premiere. For the third year in a row, the Texas Marching Classic concluded the jam-packed day of competition with the Vandegrift Viper Band and Vision Dance Company taking home a gold medal. The Austin-based ensemble topped second place Rouse High School by over two points in Finals competition, with Vandegrift scoring a 91.200 and Rouse earning an 88.950.

To close out the month of September, Texas took center stage on the Bands of America 2023 schedule, serving as the host state for three of four September 30 events.
