Things You May Have Missed From Atlanta

Yesterday, the Southeastern Championship took center stage in Powder Springs, GA for a day full of drum corps and new endings. From Blue Stars to Blue Devils, some of the biggest changes of the season have hit the field for 2017. Luckily, if you missed last night but you'll be watching tonight's stream of Tour of Champions - NightBEAT, you'll get a chance to watch some of the corps again. Let's look take a quick look at some of the endings you can catch again tonight! Will Vanguard pass up the undefeated Blue Devils? With the smallest score gap in the history of DCI, they were only behind by .013 last night in Atlanta.

For some, that meant closed rehearsals and increased suspense for the fans until the corps arrive in Powder Springs, GA, for the Southeastern Championship on Saturday or Winston-Salem, NC, for NightBEAT on Saturday -- which are both streaming LIVE on FloMarching.

DCI Tour of Champions - NightBEAT: How To Watch, Time, & Stream

Another exciting Tour of Champions show is coming LIVE to FloMarching on Sunday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina! Scores from Sunday night will be combined with the scores from Saturday night's show in Powder Springs, Georgia, to make up the seeding for next weekend's show in Allentown, Pennsylvania -- further setting up the corps for their final performance seeding going into DCI World Championship prelims on Thursday, August 10 in Indianapolis. Following the national anthem on Sunday, the show gets started with the Colts from Dubuque, Iowa, performing their show, "Both Sides Now," and ends with Carolina Crown performing their 2017 production, "It is..." exploring the deconstruction of the football field and the modern marching arts activity as a whole.

ICYMI: San Antonio Recap And Looking Ahead To Atlanta And On...

The World Class corps (and Open Class Guardians) meeting in San Antonio marks the start of what can be affectionately referred to as "regional season." Over the next three weekends, corps will compete in Atlanta/Winston-Salem, Allentown, and finally Indianapolis to reach levels of excellence never seen by the drum corps community. Each of the upcoming weekends will play a factor in the final seeding for DCI World Championship prelims on Thursday night, August 10.
