Bands from across Texas, braved the heat to perform all day Saturday. The Dripping Springs (TX) marching band came out on top. After a great performance in prelims that earned them the Class 3A championship, Dripping Springs rolled into finals, swept all of the caption awards, and is now headed home with the 2017 BOA South Texas Regional Championship. Class 2A Champion Roma (TX) finished 2nd overall while Pioneer (TX) came in third. Homer Hanna (TX) finished in 4th overall and were named the Class 4A champions earlier in the day.
