Desparadise Welcomes the Creature
Any time you're watching a Bands of America contest, you learn very quickly that being surprised is the norm. But when a band member from Park Vista High School began lumbering around the Georgia Dome at the USMC Bands of America Atlanta Super Regional on four 8ft tall stilts...every body stopped breathing. Kind of fitting because their show entitled Desparadise is centered around the idea that world has been deprived of oxygen by the Creature. We talked with head director Aaron Snipes about performing inside the Georgia Dome, the show, and the Creature.
