I Wish- kevin schupman- flag solo

at first I really struggled to choreograph this solo because I knew I wanted it to be a part of me represented in the form of dance and choreo but not only that also by the atmosphere surrounding me I wanted to depict one emption and fill the stage and room with it so that it would transfer to the viewer.

It’s took a few months and a couple variations of concept for this solo but eventually I landed on “I Wish”, a story about loving someone who won’t love you back and how with every fiber of your soul and heart you just can’t not love them but you know in the end you will never have them. It’s a deep concept that I knew would take a lot of preparation to complete but am very happy with the end product!
