We're getting into the thick of Championships season!

This weekend, band fans can stream four different USBands State Championship competitions - two covering New Jersey State Championships and two covering New England States Championships.

Here's everything you need to know about the action-packed weekend:

New England States Championships (IA, IIA)

The New England States Championships (IA, IIA) competition will take place on October 29th in Vernon, CT. Competition will kick off at 5:30pm with Joseph Case High School (IA) and will run throughout the evening until the last group (Bethel High School) takes the field at 9:02pm. There will be a short break followed by the start of the awards ceremony beginning at 9:30pm. 

New England States Championships (IIIA, IVA, VA, Open)

The New England States Championships (IIIA, IVA, VA, Open) competition will take place on October 29th in New Britain, CT. The first ensemble (Salem High School) will step off at 10:00am effectively beginning the A Class competition, which will run through 1:45pm. The A Class awards ceremony will take place at 2:15pm and will be followed by a shot break after. 

The Open Class action will commence at 6:00pm with Shepherd Hill Regional High School and will go on until 8:30pm when Southington High School will close out the evening. Following their performance, there will be a special exhibition performance at 8:45pm from the University of New Haven, followed by the Open Class awards ceremony at 9:00pm.

New Jersey State Championships (IA, IIA, IV Open)

The New Jersey State Championships (IA, IIA, IV Open) competition will take place on October 29th in Hillsborough Township, NJ. Competition will kick off at 10:00am with South Hunterdon Regional High School and will run through 1:15pm, when the final IA Class group (Nottingham High School) will take the field. Directly following their performance will be the IA awards ceremony starting at 1:45pm. 

The excitement will start back up at 3:00pm with IIA ensemble Warren Hills Regional High School and will run through 8:45pm when Edison High School - NJ will close out the competition for the evening. The IIA and IV Open awards ceremony will begin at 9:15pm, shortly after the last ensemble leaves the field. 

New Jersey State Championships (IIIA-VA, IO-IIIO, VO)

The New Jersey State Championships (IIIA-VA, IO-IIIO, VO) competition will take place on October 29th in South Brunswick, NJ. The first ensemble of the day (Tenafly High School) will take the field at 2:00pm, kicking off the IIIA and IVA Class competition portion of the day which will run up until the last IVA ensemble (West Milford High School) completes their run around 5:00pm. Following West Milford's performance will be the IIIA and IVA Awards Ceremony and a short break before the second half of the competition gets underway. 

The action will start back up at 6:00pm with Fort Lee High School (V A) and will run until South Brunswick High School's run at 9:00pm. Following the completion of their performance, there will be a short break and then the V A and Open awards ceremony will begin at 9:30, closing out the evening.
