Top programs from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi take center state at the 2-day 2022 WGI Guard Dallas Regional in Coppell, TX. Preliminary competition will take place throughout the day on Saturday, with programs that advance to finals competing on Sunday.

Scholastic A ensembles will be out in full force, with four rounds of A competition taking place in the morning, highlighted by groups like Lake Travis HS, Friendswood HS, Azle HS, Aledo HS, and many more. Scholastic Regional A will also be stocked with talent from eight competing ensembles, including Pearl HS, Braswell HS JV, and more. Only three Independent A groups will be taking the floor at this Regional: University of Louisiana, Zephyrus Independent Winter Guard, and Glory Independent. 

Scholastic Open boasts a strong showing with 14 groups slated to compete, including Coppell HS, Marcus HS, McNeil HS, and more. In the Independent Open class, ATX Winterguard, Orginins Open, and Undaunted will face off for first, while Flower Mound HS is the solitary Scholastic World ensemble of the event. 

Finally, Independent World class will be a battle for top class rankings, bringing Mirage Performance Ensemble, Invictus, ORIGINS, and Lake Area Independent together to close out competition.
