Quick Guide To The 2021 WGI Virtual Season On FloMarching
Quick Guide To The 2021 WGI Virtual Season On FloMarching
Here's a quick viewing guide to watching the 2021 WGI virtual season LIVE on FloMarching from February to April.
Despite the cancellation of the 2021 WGI World Championships due to COVID-19, nine weeks of WGI virtual competition will be coming to FloMarching starting February 20th. You can catch many of the groups you typically watch at premiere events like the Power Regionals and WGI World Championships each weekend starting on Saturday mornings beginning at 9 AM ET.
Don't forget to check out WGI's newest format, eShowcase, removing nearly all limitations and letting technology and creativity mix in an increasingly virtual world.
Don't miss a beat—performances will only be available for viewing on Saturday and Sunday.
How to Watch
Things will be a little bit different this time around when you're tuning into a WGI event this winter.
- Performances will be uploaded during the week and published on Saturday morning at 9 AM ET on the date of the event. They will be unavailable for viewing after 11:59 PM ET on the following Sunday.
- Each event will include groups from all three of WGI's divisions: Guard, Percussion, Winds.
- There are two new formats in which groups may compete this season (aside from everything moving virtual): Non-competitive and eShowcase.
- Results will be released LIVE on FloMarching every Sunday at 5 PM ET!
