First Scores Roll In For WGI 2019 Season
Check out the results from the three first 2019 Winter Guard International (WGI) regionals and see what they mean for next weekend!
The first scores have come in from three Winter Guard International (WGI) guard regionals in Albany, San Antonio, and Philadelphia!
Groups of all classes came out yesterday to perform its show for the first time in WGI competition. From Scholastic Regional A all the way up to Independent World, groups have already gotten their first and second judge reads of the year—a first step in perfecting their show on the path towards the 2019 WGI World Championships in Dayton.
Only one group that performed in finals this weekend will be making an appearance on FloMarching next weekend at the WGI Guard Dallas Regional—Cedar Park High School. That means that all of the other groups in the Dallas regional and in the WGI Guard Riverside Regional will be competing in WGI for the first time this year LIVE on FloMarching.

- West Shore School District is coming off of a 9th place finish in Scholastic Open Finals.
- Main Line Independent earned a 64.50 in the same competition last year, putting them 8 points ahead of their 2018 pace.
