Pacific Crest unleashed a few big changes to each caption for the 2019 season including some new caption heads.

Luis Cardenas Casillas and Reggie Humphrey are out as brass co-caption heads. As is Jen Barton as the guard caption head, and Matt Ponce as the percussion caption head. The announcement reads, "[the staff members] will not be returning to Pacific Crest in 2019 but have made a lasting impact on our organization and members."

In their place, the corps has announced the addition of a number of strong talent out of the some big-name West Coast groups.

Glen Crosby will serve as program coordinator and Director of Percussion with a fully outfitted percussion staff below him. Also on the design staff is Steven Estudillo as the Creative Director and Visual Designer whose recent experience includes Pulse Percussion (like much of the new staff) and The Cavaliers.

Filling out the percussion caption staff are Jonathan Zuniga, spending his third year with the corps in 2019, as the corps' music director and ensemble/electronics arranger. Ezekial Lanser will continue his position as the battery arranger into 2019. The percussion caption head position will be split between Brianne Kikuchi and Nathan Carroll—both of whom have experience teaching Pulse Percussion groups in the winter.

Staying in the visual caption is Rudy Ruiz, as the visual caption head, with Gabe Escobedo coming in as the new color guard caption head. Ben Contreras will be the Visual Coordinator for 2019, bringing in his indoor experience with Vox Artium and outdoor experience with Vanguard Cadets.

Brad Green, previously the Oregon Crusaders' Brass Arranger, joins Pacific Crest as the new brass arranger and caption supervisor. Alongside him is Sean Phelan as the new caption head, whose experience lies entirely with the Madison Scouts—most recently in the caption head role in 2018.
