With nine of the 2016 BOA North Carolina Regional's finalists returning to the 2017 competition, Saturday's show will be a nail-biter to see who's going to get the chance to perform twice. Leading the pack, Dobyns-Bennett has run the BOA North Carolina Regional for the last couple years and certainly will be looking to make it a fie-year streak as a BOA regional champion.
Bringing a high level of talent and some 2017 hardware to North Carolina is Nation Ford (SC), who already captured a regional championship title last weekend in Jacksonville, Alabama. Green Hope (NC) also saw some success last weekend (including taking the Overall Outstanding Visual Performance award and tying for Overall Outstanding Music Performance) in Delaware at the BOA Mid-Atlantic Regional, where the group earned second place with a 79.65.
Let's take a look at some of the bands pushing to make their presence known under the lights in Winston-Salem!

Let's take a look at some of the bands pushing to make their presence known under the lights in Winston-Salem!
10:30 AM EDT - Bassett (VA)
Performing their show "Fore!", the Bassett band is a well-known BOA competitor with plenty of experience in finals at BB&T Stadium. Reaching fourth in 2013, Bassett has seen finals consistently since the start of the North Carolina regional. Having been regional champions in their class (A and AA), they have also been BOA grand national semifinalists six times. Their show "Fore!" will feature four movements taking you straight to the local "links," starting with "Off The Tee," then "Down The Fairway," "Rain Delay," and finally "The 18th".11:15 AM EDT - Cape Fear (NC)
Wrapping up the morning chunk of performances is Cape Fear (NC) from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Bringing their very experienced WGI finalist color guard to Winston-Salem, the bar is set high for Cape Fear's 2017 production "From Dusk 'Til Dawn". The show will be using the music "Morning Mood" and "Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg as well as "Creep" by Radiohead. The Cape Fear band has also been a consistent finalist in BB&T Stadium and also holds a Super Regional finalist title from the Atlanta Super Regional Championship.4:15 PM EDT - Dobyns-Bennett (TN)
The Dobyns-Bennett marching band, or DB, are the band to watch if you had to pick one in Saturday's show. DB earned the last spot in the 2016 BOA grand national championship finals last year and have been named the BOA North Carolina regional champion for the past four years. Closing out the prelims portion will be their show "Paradisum". "Paradisum" uses the music of "Eden" by Sarah Brightman, "Pines of Rome" by Ottorino Respighi, "Merry Mount Suite" by Howard Hanson, and "The Real Life of Angel Deverell" by Phillippe Rombi. With this being DB's first BOA show of the season, they will be chomping at the bit to put their best product on the field. How to Watch
