Boston Crusaders reveal their 2017 uniform for their production, "Wicked Games."
One of the biggest uniform changes that's been released during this pre-season has just taken place! Exclusively via Drum Corps International's Facebook page, the Boston Crusaders revealed their 2017 uniform for their production, "Wicked Games."
This season the corps will be sporting a uniform designed by The Band Shoppe. The material used for the instrumentalists' uniform is reminiscent of an indoor color guard/percussion uniform, allowing the members to have ultimate mobility in the stretchy cloth. The jacket still references their previous uniform while adding elements that reinforce their show's haunting concept.
These details can be seen in the red and black-lined pants as well as their arms being covered with a rust-patterned cloth. The pattern on the arms can also look like it's burning or bloody from afar which is once again reflective of the corps' show concept, revolving around the Salem witch trials.
The color guard is wearing long, loose flowing dresses to signify the attire worn by witches from the 17th century. You can catch the Boston Crusaders live in their first DCI competition at the 2017 DCI Central Indiana show, only on FloMarching! Check out the video below for yourself!
