Here's your first look at the second day of preliminaries at the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional on Nov. 5, 2016.
Here's your first look at the second day of competition at the Super Regional in the Alamodome in San Antonio. Bands of America is setting the stage for one of the most anticipated finals competitions in BOA history with this lineup of bands. Along with the finals at the BOA Indianapolis Super Regional, this may be the most amazing night of marching band competitions ever hosted. And FloMarching is your home for it ALL!
Morning Block

Friendswood H.S. - 8:30 AM
The Friendwood marching band is a consistent UIL Sweepstakes band and a six-time UIL State 4A finalist earning three silver medals. The wind ensemble was twice named the TMEA 4A Honor Band and earned the Sudler Flag of Honor.
L.D. Bell H.S. - 9:30 AM
The Blue Raider band is a proud participant in the Texas University Interscholastic League, receiving a first division at marching contest each year since 1959. Since 2000, the band has medaled at BOA and UIL events 38 times, including multiple regional, area, super regional, and national championships.
Morning Block 2
Aledo H.S. - 10:30 AM
The Aledo High School band has been a five-time UIL state marching band finalist and a consistent class champion at BOA Regionals and Super Regionals. In 2015, the band won the 5A TMEA Honor Band and recently performed at the 2016 TMEA Convention.
Marcus H.S. - 12:15 PM
The Marcus marching band includes over 275 wind, percussion, and color guard members. The band has earned notable ensemble honors, including the 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014 UIL Texas State Championship and the 2007, 2010, and 2012 BOA Super Regional Championship. The Marcus band appeared as finalists at the BOA Grand Nationals Championships in 2009 and 2013. Ensembles at Marcus earned the Sudler Flag and Sudler Shield in 2014 and 2008, respectively, awarded by the John Philip Sousa Foundation. Marcus finished second at the BOA Plano Regional on Oct. 8.

Leander H.S. - 3:45 PM
The Leander band is a consistent UIL Sweepstakes recipient, a UIL State Marching Contest medalist, the 2015 BOA Austin Regional Champion, and a BOA Grand Nationals finalist. At the BOA Austin Regional on Sept. 24, Leander finished second overall.
Flower Mound H.S. - 4:00 PM
The Flower Mound High School band is comprised of two marching bands, five concert bands, numerous percussion ensembles, and two winter guards. In 2014, the band was named a BOA Grand National finalist at their first appearance in Indianapolis. In 2015, the band was named grand champion at the Arlington Regional and the San Antonio Super Regional. The wind symphony performed at the Midwest Clinic in December and placed second in the 2016 TMEA Honor Band Competition. Flower Mound won the BOA Plano Regional on Oct. 8.
