FloMarching, in conjunction with the Western Band Association, is thrilled to announce that the two parties have reached an agreement for FloMarching to live stream the Western Band Association finals on November 19-20, 2016!

The competition slate on day one of the Western Band Class Championships takes place at two separate venues and currently features a total of 63 bands on Saturday, November 19. The WBA 1A-3A Class Championships are being held at Merced College's Don Odishoo Stadium in Merced, California, and the WBA 4A-5A Class Championships are hosted by Buchanan High School's Veterans Stadium in Clovis, CA. FloMarching is live streaming from both venues, allowing viewers access to every competitive show.

On Sunday, November 20, the Western Band Grand Championships combines all competitive classes at Veterans Stadium in Clovis. Competition is set to begin at 10 AM PST and run until 9 PM PST.

"I'm absolutely thrilled that FloMarching has the chance to live stream the Western Band Association finals," said Wesley Sullivan, senior rights acquisition manager for FloMarching. "California bands represent the best the marching arts has to offer, and for some reason California doesn't receive a lot of attention from the rest of the country. With this partnership, we are proud to offer the WBA finals not only to family and friends of competing band members but also to all of our subscribers. We view this as a great opportunity to highlight the prowess of western bands for the rest of the country."

The Western Band Association finals cap off a busy fall for FloMarching, in which it has established itself as a landing point for all things marching arts. Leading up to the live stream coverage, FloMarching will be highlighting WBA member bands and their paths to the WBA finals.

"WBA is excited about our partnership with FloMarching that will offer a broader audience for our students and those interested in music education and the marching arts," WBA president Troy Gunter said. "It will allow parents and fans who cannot attend our championship event the opportunity to cheer on their band and will expand the reach of WBA outside California."

In addition to its event coverage, FloMarching will produce original documentaries on the marching arts elite ensembles, designers, educators, and performers, as well as breaking news, live results, and technique videos from expert instrumentalists and marching instructors.
