The Bands of America Jacksonville Regional will get going on Saturday, October 1 at Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Morning Block

Parkway H.S. - 11:15 AM
The Parkway marching band has a long history of excellence. Having been named grand champions at many local and state competitions, the Parkway band is a source of pride for Bossier City residents. Parkway performs for many award events on the prestigious Barksdale Air Force Base.
Pelham H.S. - 11:45 AM
The Pelham band has a rich tradition and has excelled at concert band festivals, marching competitions, and indoor competitions around the country and abroad for over 40 years. The band has performed at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival, SEUS Concert Band Clinic, Grand National Adjudicators Invitational, the University of Alabama Honor Band Clinic, and the Alabama Music Educators Association In-Service Conference on five different occasions.
Kell H.S. - 12:15 AM
The Kell marching band is a consistent Bands of America Regional finalist. Most recently, the band was the Class AA champion at the Jacksonville State University Regional in 2014 and 2015. The Kell wind ensemble performed at the 2016 GMEA State Convention, and the wind ensemble and symphonic band will both perform at the 2017 Music For All Southeastern Regional Concert Band Festival.
Cleveland H.S. - 12:45 AM
The Cleveland marching band is honored to have been named a Bands of America Grand Nationals semifinalist, 13-time regional championship finalist, and two-time regional class champion. The band proudly represents Cleveland High School, Tennessee's first recipient of the United States' "Excellence in Education" award.

River Ridge H.S. - 2:00 PM
The Marching Knights were named a 2015 Bands of America Regional finalist and have been featured in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C., and the London New Year's Parade in London, England. The River Ridge wind ensemble was a 2016 guest ensemble at the University of Georgia's January Music Festival and will be a featured ensemble at this year's University of Alabama Honor Band Festival.
Oak Grove H.S. - 2:45 PM
The Oak Grove marching band is a five-time Bands of America Class A regional champion. The band has also participated in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City, and the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA.
East Coweta H.S. - 3:30 PM
The Marching Indians have been a BOA Regional finalist the past six years, being named regional class champions in 2010, 2013 and 2015. The Marching Indians have represented East Coweta High School in multiple international parades, including two times in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The East Coweta winter guard is a 2015 Scholastic A Class WGI National finalist and a 2016 Scholastic Open Class WGI National finalist.
Kennesaw Mountain H.S. - 3:45 PM
The Kennesaw Mountain marching band is a consistent Bands of America Regional and Grand National finalist. Most recently, the band was named the 2015 Bands of America Jacksonville Regional champion and the 2014 Bands of America Class AAA National champion.
