The Bands of America Conroe Regional will be taking over East Texas on Saturday, October 1 at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Here is a quick-hitting glance at some of the bands that will be competing at the Conroe Regional.

Morning Block 1

(All times are CST)
The Woodlands H.S. - 8:15 AM
The Woodlands band is the 2013 BOA Grand National champion, is a consistent UIL Texas State Marching Contest finalist, and receives UIL superior ratings annually with its concert band program. The wind ensemble was featured at the 2012 Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic and the percussion studio was at the 2014 PAS convention.The winter guard has two units and will compete in the 2017 Scholastic World in Dayton.The band is a proud recipient of the John Philip Sousa Sudler Shield and Sudler Flag of Honor.

Brazoswood H.S. - 9 AM
The Brazoswood band has appeared in the BOA Conroe finals for the past two years. The band has earned the UIL Sweepstakes Award every year since 1981. The Brazoswood symphonic band has appeared 12 times in the Texas State Honor Band finals and was named the 2013 Honor Band.


Morning Block 2

Winston Churchill H.S. - 9:45 AM
The Charger marching band is celebrating it's 50th year of existence and has a long tradition of excellence as one of the most decorated band programs in the State of Texas in both UIL and Bands of America competition.

Hendrickson H.S. - 10:45 AM
The Hendrickson band will represent the state of Texas at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in November. Hendrickson is a consistent Bands of America finalist and has been a finalist at the UIL Texas State Marching Contest numerous times.


Afternoon Block 1

Morton Ranch H.S. - 1 PM
The Morton Ranch band is a consistent UIL Area E Marching Contest finalist and receives consistent first-division ratings at UIL Marching, Concert, and Sight Reading events. The Morton Ranch color guard is a consistent WGI Regional Championship finalist.

Claudia Taylor Johnson H.S. - 2 PM
The Claudia Taylor Johnson band is a consistent Bands of America Regional and UIL State Marching Contest finalist. The band was also a Grand National finalist in 2011. In 2014, the band was named champion of the San Antonio Super Regional and in 2015 was the Class AAAA champion. Additionally, the band is the reigning UIL 6A state bronze medalist. In 2014, the band marched in the 125th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.


Afternoon Block 2

Pearland H.S. - 2:45 PM
The Pearland Band has been a consistent UIL Sweepstakes Award winner, UIL State Marching Band participant and a consistent BOA Conroe Regional finalist. The Varsity, JV, and JV B winter guards and the indoor percussion ensemble have all been gold medalists at the TCGC Championships. The band is a consistent best in class award winner at regional and national concert festivals.

Ronald Reagan H.S. - 4:15 PM
The Ronald Reagan band is a consistent Bands of America Regional and Super Regional finalist and was named champion of the 2015 Conroe Regional. The band is also a four-time Grand National finalist. The Reagan wind ensemble is a multiple time Texas State Honor Band finalist, and they performed at the Music For All National Concert Band Festival in 2010.
