Heading into the first weekend of Bands of America regional contests, there's so much to look forward to as the 2016 season begins. For 15 bands in the Northeast, their season will begin on Saturday, September 17, at Gateway High School Stadium. 

Kiski Area High School will be the odds-on favorite to repeat as champions after winning the 2015 contest with a score of 68.35 and the 2014 contest with 74.95.
But do not overlook Norwin High School, which seems poised to capture the crown and end Kiski's streak. The 2013 champion, Norwin finished finished second in 2014 and slipped to fourth in 2015.
