FloMo Steals the Show in San Antonio
BOA action headed to the Alamodome this past weekend, and the results were nothing short of thrilling. On day one of the massive two-day event, Prelims ended with the following top three: Vandegrift HS sitting in third place, Flower Mound HS in second, and Hebron HS at the top of the table in first. Hebron also took home the Prelims caption awards for Outstanding Music and Visual Performance, with the award for Outstanding General Effect going to Flower Mound. The point spread between those three ensembles? 0.65 points.
Finals, however, is where things get juicy. Remember that top three we just went over? Well, throw it out the window because none of the top three placements from Prelims carried over into Finals. Massive switch-ups took place across the board, with Flower Mound ultimately coming out on top with a huge point gap between them and second-place Hebron. FloMo also managed to nab Caption Award victories in both Oustanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect, while the award for Outstanding Music Performance went to Hebron HS.
