 Weathering The Storm in McAllen

The South Texas Regional was unfortunately cut short due to weather, so Finals results for this regional were based on Prelims scores. Roma HS came out victorious after prelims, solidifying a first-place finish over runner-up John B Alexander HS and third-place Trinity HS.

Roma HS also nabbed Caption Award honors for Outstanding Music Performance and Outstanding Visual Performance. John B Alexander HS stopped Roma's sweep after claiming the Caption Award for Outstanding General Effect.

A Photo Finish in Obetz

The Central Ohio Regional was headlined by a predominantly heavy cast of ensembles from Ohio and Kentucky, but it was the lone competitor from Pennsylvania that stole the show. Ohio's own Lakota West HS claimed victory in Prelims, tallying a 78.925 and overtaking Kiski Area HS by a margin of 0.175 points.
