The battle for the first-ever DCI All Age World Championship title will take place on August 10 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and you can stream all the action LIVE on FloMarching. But before the competition starts, here's everything you need to know about the All Age playing field this season ahead of Saturday's start:
A Brief Intro to the All Age Class
As this is the first year of the multi-year partnership where we see Drum Corps Associates (DCA) ensembles rolled under the DCI All Age umbrella, here are some basics to know about All Age:
- There are three divisions within DCI All Age: A Class, Open Class, and World Class
- All Age ensembles are scored on different scoring sheets as DCI ensembles
- There are 13 All Age ensembles making it out to Indy for the inaugural DCI All Age Championship

This Year's Competitors
Fans can expect to see many of their favorite competitors at this year's All Age World Championship Final: 13 total, to be exact. Every ensemble that was at last year's DCA Finals will be making the trek to Indy this year, with the addition of Sunrisers rounding out the overall competitive slate. Focal Points and Questions
- The Reading Buccaneers have won first place in the DCA World Class division a stunning 15 of the last 17 years the ensemble has fielded an ensemble (all DCI/DCA was canceled in 2020 and the corps was inactive in 2021; Bucs won second in 2016 and 2011), including a knock-out season in 2023 where the ensemble earned a staggering 99.000 at DCA Finals.
