The DCI Open Class World Championships kickoff DCI World Championship Week in Indiana as the best Open Class corps compete for the final time in the 2024 season.

The first night of performances at Wildcat Stadium in Marion, Ind. included the Blue Devils B, Colt Cadets and more. Performances began just after 6 p.m. EST and ended just after 10 p.m. 

The Spartans scored the highest in the prelims and will be among the favorites to win during the finals on Aug. 6. 

The DCI Open Class World Championship is the appetizer for DCI’s biggest week of the season. After Open Class World Championship finals on Tuesday, corps will move to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the start of the 2024 DCI World Championships on Thursday, Aug. 8.
